My former cars

My very first car was a Honda Integra from 1986. Old but fun. Everything was manual.
After some month I started to tune my car. I didn't have any experience in tuning, but that didn't stop me. Cleaning the engine and improving airflow gave the engine extra horsepower. According to the manual the car should do 160kph (100mph). The speedometer in the dashboard had a maximum of 190kph (119mph), but I remember That I could feel my heart bounce in my throat the moment I saw the needle past 190!!
My brother had a Yamaha motorcycle, he followed me to see how fast my car is driving. Result: 210kph (131mph)!! So from 160 'till 210 is almost 31% faster. Not bad for such an old car. One thing, the back of the car was dancing, not enough downforce. So I added an aluminium wing. Less top speed but way more traction.
Next step: sound
Now it was time to change the exhaust. I went to a garage in Maldegem called Skytuning. They build stainless steel exhausts by hand!
More expensive but unique.
And what a sound!!
A friend told me that my car can shoot flames out of the exhaust. It was impressing. 2 Blue flames of 1 meter escapes from the exhaust!!
I sold the car, the only thing I kept are the wing and the audio system.

After I sold the Honda I was looking for a new car, again a Honda. This time a Civic from'96.
While I was looking I found a BMW 320i from '92 for the same price. Guess what I took.
The BMW has a 6cyl 2 liter producing 150bhp. This time I did a little bit of tuning. I added angel eyes and a sport air filter. Now the car was making an excellent sound.
For long distance, Romania (did 8000km/5000miles in 2 weeks), the car performed very well and the seats are great.
I sold the car. The first person who came to see the car bought it. He was astonished about the sound.

Update: I regret I sold this car
